BARBARA DOMER: Valparaiso City Council District 3

During calendar year 2024, INDOT will be increasing the maximum awarded amount per calendar year for the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program from $1.0 million to $1.5 million dollars. What this means to Valparaiso is $3.0 million dollars to spend on infrastructure improvements in 2024.  That is great news!  If there are streets/sidewalks/curbs in need of repair in your neighborhood, please complete the ‘Voice A Concern’ form on the city website with specific details of the location in need of repairs!  I will keep residents posted as to when the proposals are prepared identifying the locations selected for improvement in 2024.
