I am excited to host a town hall on October 6, 2024 from 1-3 PM at the Pines Retirement Community! Join me to engage in conversation on accomplishments of your 2024 City Council, voter information, accessibility initiatives, dissecting legislation handled in the statehouse vs. municipal, and the impact of federal legislation on our great city. We will have a few breakout sessions, and light refreshments will be served!
The town hall was a great success! 30 folks attended. I highlighted ordinances and resolutions passed in 2024, and did a deep dive into infrastructure improvements. 3 of my fellow council members shared information on initiatives. The breakout sessions included Deb Chubb, presenting on women’s reproductive freedom, Drew Mullen facilitated a session on a pedestrian friendlier city and my fellow League of Women Voters of Porter County were on hand to check registrations and share voter information.
