Thank you to the Valparaiso Park Board for approving my proposal for an increased tree reimbursement amount for residents who lost a tree during the March 30, 2025 storm!
Special tree reimbursement program details:
Any City resident who lost a tree during the March 30, 2025 storm, can receive a maximum of $100 reimbursement from the Valpo Parks Tree Fund.
Each household will only be allowed to receive one (1) $100 reimbursement through this program.
The program will be available May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026.
Interested residents will be required to follow the guidelines outlined in the current Tree Fund Reimbursement program as outlined on the Parks website.
The existing Tree Fund (50% reimbursement up to $100) will remain in place for other allowed requests.
