BARBARA DOMER: Valparaiso City Council District 3

At the May 8, 2025 Valparaiso Redevelopment Commission meeting, four Challenge Grant applications were presented and funding was approved! The commission budgeted $700,000 this year, and added two schools to the list of recipients. The breakdown of funds approved by school/school system are:

Porter County Career & Technical Education: $50,000 (first time applicant)

East Porter County School Corp: $158,721.82

Porter County Education Services (SELF): $50,000 (first time applicant)

Valparaiso Community Schools: $441,278.17
